Lissy began playing guitar and writing songs at a very early age in an attempt to amuse her captors. After escaping, her desire to write and play songs created the need for a band, which is now fervently laying it down in NYC. She met Ian (bass) when she made a shortcut through the Egyptian section of the Met, looking for her mummy. Not long afterwards, Josh was recruited to play drums, via a friend who traffics in birthday clowns and anxiety meds and the deal was sealed over French toast. Eben (guitar) completed the lineup, after being pulled out by the suspenders from the bear trap we set for him (no homo), to really “Save the Day”. We’ve had many memorable shows since then, in NYC, like the ASPCA benefit, and a gig in Paris for Jalouse magazine. Some of the things, we love are www.astrologyzone.com, Swedish Fish, insomnia, feathers and the Virgins (no homo). Most recently we spent some time in the studio, hunkering down to put the sound on tape, and put out an EP, which is due in January. There is a lot of excitement in the band about continuing to write, rehearse, play songs, and develop a line of edible cosmetics.
