Since Marina and the Diamonds first came into our lives many moons ago (via our sisters in GIRLCORE nonetheless), the song that has always knocked our socks off more than the rest is “Mowgli’s Road”, which almost sounds like something Never Forever-era Kate Bush would concoct alone at her enchanted piano. THEN HER LIMBS WOULD TURN INTO PAPER!

Marina’s first major label single (girl signed to Warner Brothers in the UK earlier this year) is a re-recorded version of “Mowgli’s Road” that packs even more of a punch than the original. Her album Family Jewels is slated for an early 2010 release, but in the meantime get into this freaky video.
