MP3: Syntaks, “Twentytwohundred”

As gorgeous as the Fall can be, frankly this time of year can suck. The chilly wind and early sunsets do nothing to chase the impending Winter blues. However one can find solace in bands like Syntaks, who make music equivalent to pulling the covers over your head and hiding in bed all damn day long. The band knows a fair thing or two about fever dream song writing for cold weather- Jakob Skott and Anna Cecilia are based out of Copenhagen. Think along the lines of if Boards of Canada came out with their own Snuggie™. Their full length debut Ylajali drops this week on Ghostly International.
