Stopmakingme’s ‘SUP Magazine Issue 20 Minimix

dan1

There’s one notion we value over everything when we’re putting together an issue of ‘SUP: diversity. Few things irk us more than thumbing through a cultural publication and seeing, time after time, the same predictable drivel. ‘SUP 20, possibly our most eclectic issue to date, features in-depth interviews with musicians such as Detroit techno legend Carl Craig, banjee Brooklynites House of Ladosha, an entire crop of new heavy metal heroes such as Saviours, Baroness, White Wizzard and Moss, and fragile-voiced experimental folk singer Caroline Weeks. Not one genre is left unturned, and that’s just how we like it. UK remix wünderkind Dan Avery of Stopmakingme has put together a mini mix of tracks by some of the bands we covered in #20, just to present a little taste of what’s inside the newest issue. Go forth and check out these bands for yourself, if you like what you hear. This new new and fresh and the things that inspire us and make us get up in the morning and do what we do. We’ve been spinning this mix non-stop since we got it in the office last week, and we’re sure you will too.
