The Mighty Boosh Disembark on These American Shores

boosh2

We here at ‘SUP have been fans of British comedy duo the Mighty Boosh for ages (we even have stories involving the guys with lots of drugs, couches, and voluminous hairspray), and while their surrealist brand of absurdist slapstick has only just begun to catch on in America with a late-night weekend timeslot on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim, we can already claim our fine nation to be in a state of Boosh-mania. To promote the DVD release of all three seasons of The Mighty Boosh on BBC America Video, Noel Fielding (aka Vince Noir) and Julian Barratt (aka Howard Moon) will be playing two very special live dates in conjunction with Myspace Stand-Up tonight (July 21) at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC, and next Tuesday, July 28 at the Roxy in LA. We’ll definitely be down the front, and if we’re lucky, we may spot Old Gregg’s mangina.

Hi! I love Mighty Boosh too, so surrealistic and fun. I’ve just made a mix of Lady Gaga’s “Love Game” with the Mighty Boosh’s original dialog. Check it out on my site!: DJ Bread n Butter
