Charlotte Gainsbourg graced the Bellhouse in Brooklyn last night for her second live appearance in NYC. The chanteuse was in town to debut new songs off her upcoming album IRM, aka our favorite Beck collaboration to date. The result was a stunning and intimate performance that ranged from a Bob Dylan cover of “Just Like a Woman” (recorded with Calexico for the Bob Dylan biopic I’m Not There) to the tighest of tight tracks “Trick Pony” off of IRM. Yes- she did Serge Gainsbourg’s own “Sorry Angel” too.
