‘SUP caught up with Swedish pop maestro Erik Hassle as the sun set on Tompkins Square Park to discuss matters of Mika fans, visas, the London pop mafia, and glitter. Twenty-four hours later we caught his live performance at Soho House – where shit got meta when he covered Otis Redding covering Sam Cooke’s “A Change Is Gonna Come” with aplomb. Final verdict?
