We’ve always been pretty big Yeasayer fans, but the Brooklyn quartet’s upcoming album, Odd Blood, has basically pushed us over the edge, into a flaming abyss of frothing fandom. The whole record is pretty sick, but we’ve been especially attached to “O.N.E.”, five-and-a-half minute long tropical romp propelled by a fuzzy robotic steel-drum noise that gets under our skin and makes us want to freak out and construct a makeshift drumset out of some coconuts on an equatorial beach somewhere. “O.N.E.”, rightfully, is the new single off of Odd Blood, and Yeasayer are giving it away for free on their web site as of this morning. Just try and resist it…
