If you want to go to a small festival that basically a ‘SUP print issue reunion, then you’d be hard pushed to find anything better than Standon Calling this August. At the 3,000 strong shindig in a very stately home, just outside of London (secret location) you’ll find Liars, Efterklang and These New Puritans all headlining, with Lulu and the Lampshades, Gold Panda and Metronomy all lending a hand to make a super weekend even better. They’ve also had to make their stage even bigger to host Etienne De Crecy and his massive cube, and Buena Vista Social Club are making everyone else feel smooth and fine and up for some more rum on the Sunday.

This is the only festival in the UK with its own swimming pool and it’s got a license to keep it banging on ’til 6am with DJs like ‘SUP friends Stopmakingme, Tim Fanucci and DJ Bobby Lost. This is going to be an amazing weekend.
