Look – everyone’s favourite virtual band is back! Gorillaz – the Damon Albarn/Jamie Hewlett fronted hit machine – has returned after a three year hiatus with this little number.

Featuring an interesting collaboration combo of Mos Def and “Teardrops on the Dancefloor” Bobby Womack, “Stylo” is the first single to come from the supergroup’s new album, Plastic Beach, out March 8th 2010 (click arrow on right side to download).

It seems total world domination is the plan for a very busy Mr Albarn, who (as we’re realising as the years go by) is one of the great musical geniuses of our age. From his spectacular Chinese State Circus opera, Monkey: Journey To The West, to bringing Blur out of retirement for some of the most memorable gigs last year, his sights are now firmly back on Murdoc, Noodle, Russel and 2D.

The band has also announced they’ll be playing Coachella this year, so that’s gonna be one set you can’t miss.
