I'm From Barcelona, 12:15PM, Bud Light Stage

Amid a flurry of balloons, inflatable rafts, ukeleles and Hawaiian shirts, I'm From Barcelona opened the Bud Light Stage on Saturday with the brute force of a million day care centers for the chronically attention deficient. They began their set with "Treehouse" a happy-go-lucky ode to puppy love, made even more adorable by a grown Swedish man in a bear costume. They then barreled through their twee-as-fuck debut record Let Me Introduce My Friends, all while literally running up and down the staircases leading to the stage, throwing things into the audience (in one case, IMAGINARY cassette tapes) and fulfilling everyone's cute band quota for the rest of 2007. Mission accomplished" IFB's first American performance an extreme success.
