OMG - We peeped Invasion two years ago and had them play our first UK 'SUP Release Party. They are the only band we can think of that makes music that is psychedelic, heavy metal and soulful all at the same time. The screamy female vocals and wicked guitar noises get us every time.

Invasion have been in the studio with none other than Jas Shaw (one-half Simian Mobile Disco) to produce and record their debut EP, scheduled to be released on the This Is Music label later this summer.

Wizards and galaxies and warlords and all that shit have been getting a lot of hype lately, but these guys were copping those steez way before it was cool. I mean, one of the first times we met Marek at Bestival 2006, he was wearing a wizard outfit - full on pointy hat and cape. And the party he's been doing forever in London at the Old Blue Last is called Skill Wizard.
