When I saw UNKLE at their very first NYC gig last fall I was fielding an incessant amount of texts from friends. The million dollar question? Whether either Richard Ashcroft (nope) or Thom Yorke (as if) had shown up to reprise their guest vocals with James Lavelle. I was so preoccupied that I didn't even recognize Ian Astbury onstage that night. YES, that Ian Astbury: lead signer of the Cult. YES, I am totally ashamed for the oversight. Cue my older brother shaking his head. Moving on! Well, Mr. Lavelle has moved on as well and forged new relationships on UNKLE's latest release, End Titles... Stories for Film. He says that it's not a new album in the usual sense, but new music that has been inspired by the moving image.

Why read about it though when you could listen for yourself? 'Sup is giving away 3 Vinyl copies of End Titles... along with 3 CDs in limited edition packaging. It's easy. As always just email abbey@supmag.com: this time we want to hear your best celebrity write-off story. Please specify your vinyl or CD preference in your message, and be sure to check out the new UNKLE website! Our friends at Blue Cadet (total interactive rockstars) are the culprits...
